Well, we've made it to 21 days old and mum is starting to look frazzled as her babies are now firmly in the Velociraptor stage of their development.

Their confidence is growing in leaps and bounds and no one is safe as our little gang of 5 spend their days marauding around the quad in search of food and site staff to terrorise.

Mum has now decided they are big enough to be trusted on their own for around an hour a day ahead of teatime and she takes herself off to have a little "me" time ( I cannot confirm or deny rumours she has been spotted at Lymm dam with a stiff drink and a cold compress on her head ).

They are under strict instructions to remain in their huddle while she is gone and unlike a previous occasion a couple of years ago when they, and I, were in trouble with Mum when they broke ranks they seem to be doing as they are told and staying put - until I wrote this. Last night as soon as she had left the quad one of them was up and running around antagonising the others.
