31 days old and growing at a phenomenal rate, all except Dot who seems very disinterested in food at the moment. She has previously been eating as well as the others, is keeping up with them all on their adventures but just walks away from food even when we make sure there is some right next to her, but she is drinking and foraging. We will keep a close eye on her.

This week has seen them progress on to adult pellets and sweetcorn ( Dot was off her food before this change ) It took them a couple of days to decide if they liked sweetcorn which was music to the ears of Podgy Pidge as he bravely volunteered for clean up duty. All was right in his little world, and he was loving it.

Calamitous crow was finally able to bring his convalescence to an end on Wednesday, good news as a couple of his die hard tormentors were still hanging around waiting for him to show his face.

For the first time since Daphne started visiting us all those years ago we saw something this week that we never expected to see, Dad paid a visit. Naturally, he was very untrusting of me so stayed in the undergrowth pretending I was unable to see him until I left
