So we will jump straight in with some good news. Little Dot is now eating and, although clearly behind the others in her development, is coming along nicely. She started to show interest in food again last weekend but was clearly intimidated by the stampede when food is put down. There was no being bullied as is sometimes the case when one is a little smaller but was just feeling overwhelmed.

We decided to feed her separately and by day 3 she was ignoring her own plate and was in the thick of it with the others and has remained so for the rest of the week.

So, our little gang are now 38 days old and doing very well. They carry out S.W.A.T style raids on the food store on a daily basis using distraction tactics but constantly forget the most important part. No matter how well they distract me by disappearing under shelving or hiding behind a door, they cannot lift the tub so are thwarted at the final hurdle each time.

This week saw them have their first shower, a welcome treat for Mum with mixed reviews from the babies which ranged from can I eat it? to oh my god, what are you doing to us?.

Podgy Pidge continues to wander the quad like a condemned man awaiting his last meal and, even when he has left to visit family always seems to manage to return to continue with his self-inflicted torture while I am cleaning the trays.

In the first video below you can see Dot at the back, just not engaging at all, in the second, a marked improvement.
